If there is one thing we love it is easy to make, delicious food. I have four kids so our days are busy, especially around the holidays and so I need quick and easy meals that my kids love. One of the easy meals is the Homemade Chicken Nuggets Recipe. They take about 5 minutes to bread – and then they cook for about 15 minutes (we used an air fryer) which gives you time to do the dishes, clean up the living room or even just rest. We used just four ingredients to make these chicken nuggets – an egg, flour, pre-cooked chicken strips, and Bread Crumbs.

I picked all of the stuff up at Walmart while I was doing my weekly shopping. Because breadcrumbs can be used for many different types of meals like Chicken Parmesan, Meatballs, and even Macaroni and cheese I like to buy bigger containers. They are used for many different meals throughout the week. I like to get the Bread Crumbs because they taste so good – we all love the Italian Style because of the rich flavors that add to the recipe I am making. My family loves homemade meals and bread crumbs are always tasty.

To make the recipe you will take four different bowls. this recipe is to make about 15 – 1 inch pieces of chicken. In one bowl you will have one egg, beaten. In the second bowl, add about 1/2 cup of flour. In the third bowl, you will have about 1/2 cup of Bread Crumbs and in the fourth bowl, you will have the pre-cooked 1-inch pieces of chicken. You can buy them frozen or make your own. Take a piece of chicken, coat it in the flour, then coat it in the egg, then coat it in the bread crumbs. Repeat until all pieces are covered. We used an air fryer (similar to a deep fryer without the oil) to cook these. We cooked them at 365 degrees for about 15 minutes. You can cook them in the oven, but you will want to cook them at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes or until done. Since the chicken is precooked – you just need to make sure the coating is done (by a brown crispy look – but don’t overcook).
